Overview: The Community Foundation of Crawford County administers a Universal Scholarship Application providing access to 32+ different named scholarship opportunities through a single application process.

Geographic Scope: Crawford County, Indiana; Harrison County and Orange County for select scholarships; previous graduates eligible for some scholarships

Selection Process:

Double-blind review: Identifying information (name, address, parent employment, etc.) removed before committee review

Applications reviewed and evaluated by scholarship subcommittee of CFCC Board of Directors

Committee composed of community volunteers with diverse backgrounds and geographic representation

Applications evaluated based on requirements and preferences set by scholarship donor fund

Recent Award History:

2024: 43 scholarship awards to 19 students totaling $255,000+

2023: 35 scholarship awards to 13 students totaling $176,000+
