Maine Community Foundation
The Maine Community Foundation established its first scholarship fund in 1984. Now, through the generosity of individuals, community organizations, and businesses that believe in the importance of education, the community foundation awards more than $3 million each year from nearly 700 scholarship funds.
MaineCF scholarships provide financial assistance for Maine residents attending accredited colleges, universities, technical and career schools. The funds also support students attending private high schools, camps, and experiential learning programs.
Sally Stetson Tongren Scholarship Fund for Washington County
This scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors, current college students, and graduate students who have graduated from a high school in Washington County and are seeking post-secondary education. Eligible post-secondary education can include, but is not limited to, graduate education, undergraduate education, trade and technical education, and post-secondary remedial education.
