Safe House Returning Partner Application

Organization: Eight Days of Hope Inc (MS, US)

Overview

For existing Eight Days of Hope Safe House Ministry partners experiencing growth and needing additional facility assistance. Partners can reapply after successful initial partnership to access additional volunteer support and resources for expanded programming.

    Eligibility Requirements

    Organization must meet ALL of the following:
  • Christian, faith-based nonprofit (status unchanged since initial partnership) (Required)
  • Currently serving survivors of human trafficking (programming can have changed) (Required)
  • Have funding available for building materials (Required)
  • Own the property (Required)
  • Previous partnership with EDOH Safe House Ministry

What EDOH Provides

1. Skilled leadership and volunteers for 14 days 2. Remodeling or building of a facility to serve trafficking survivors 3. Strategic plan (if applicable) to make building usable at end of 14 days 4. All tools and equipment needed to complete each project

Partner Responsibilities

1. Provide all building materials for the project OR reimbursement to EDOH 2. Provide lodging space to sleep, feed, and hold volunteer group

    - Any legal proceedings since initial application disclosure
    - Description of issues, outcomes/likely outcomes, and timeline for resolution (if able to discuss)

    4. Project Information
    - Type of work, facility type, and size
    - Project location (specific address not required)
    - Property ownership confirmation
    - Project oversight person and any outside contractors/builders
    - Planned groundbreaking and completion dates
    - Wish-list for EDOH to complete
    - Building materials availability
    - Building plans (file upload, max 128 MB, optional)

    5. Financial Information
    - Total project cost and amount raised to date
    - Most recent Form 990 (file upload, max 128 MB)
    - Organizational fiscal year budget (file upload, max 128 MB)
    - Project budget (file upload, max 128 MB)

    6. Partner Agreement Consent
    - Agreement to EDOH's terms as stated in overview
