Overview
Building Fund for the Arts (BFA) grants support the repair, renovation, or expansion of public facilities that are used for year-round arts programming. MAC is focused on maximizing the impact of existing facilities through repair and expansion projects as well as increasing number of facilities that can serve as points of public access to the arts for Mississippi residents. Requires a cash match of at least 40% of the total project budget.

The purpose of this program is to help shape and sustain art history and conservation as dynamic and rigorous disciplines by supporting art museums, conservation centers, research institutes, graduate programs, and related institutions, with an emphasis on training, collaboration, and knowledge networks.
