Rusty & Debbie Hoffman Family Scholarship A one-year scholarship available to a qualified undergraduate mechanical or architectural engineering student enrolled at one of the schools listed below or who has graduated from a high school within the geographic boundaries of ASHRAE Region IV (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia): North Carolina State UniversityNorth Carolina A&T State UniversityEast Carolina UniversityUniversity of North Carolina – Charlotte Scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that has traditionally been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession at a school.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% and meet at least one of the following criteria:The institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch ASHRAE Student Branches orThe program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)The program is accredited by the Consejo de Acreditacion de la Ensenanza de la Ingenieria (CACEI)
