rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship Grant

The rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship supports students transitioning from Missouri community colleges to accredited four-year institutions. This renewable scholarship awards up to $12,000 annually, aiming to enhance educational access for those in rural areas.

The Scholarship Foundation of St. The Scholarship Foundation provides access to postsecondary education to members of our community who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals.
The rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship is dedicated to improving postsecondary education opportunities for community college students intending to transfer from any community college in Missouri to an accredited, nonprofit 4-year college or university. This is a renewable scholarship of up to $12,000 annually.

Eligibility

To be eligible to be considered for this scholarship you must:
Be a student transferring from a community college in Missouri or Idaho, with plans to continue education at a bachelor’s degree granting institution for the upcoming academic year.
Have graduated from a rural Missouri high school or Teton High School in Idaho in the past five years
Plan to attend full-time at an accredited, nonprofit college or university
Have earned a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average
Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or similar need calculations. Applicants with a Student Aid Index (SAI) over $17,500 must have significant and extenuating circumstances to be considered.
