Overview
In 2013 the Auxiliary transferred $2,000,000 to the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) to establish this endowed scholarship program; four $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students at each AVMA-accredited US veterinary college (and named international colleges). Eligibility requires the school be AVMA-accredited with an active SAVMA chapter and the applicant be a US citizen. FLAG: page is STALE (cites the 2018-2019 academic year, posted 2015); amount/count may have changed — verify current cycle on the AVMF site. Program is AVMF-administered though it bears the Auxiliary's name.
How to Apply
Apply via the AVMF at https://www.avmf.org/grants-and-scholarships/scholarships/auxiliary-to-the-avma-scholarship-program/ (school/SAVMA-chapter mediated).
