ASHRAE is an international society of more than 50,000 heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning professionals from over 132 nations dedicated to serving humanity and promoting a sustainable world. Ronald P. Vallort Engineering Scholarship One-year scholarship established and named for a former ASHRAE President (2004-2005). Presidential Theme: Refrigeration: Technology for Survival. Special consideration is given to engineering students studying refrigeration and/or the cold chain and enrolled at one of the following universities: University of Illinois at Urbana-ChampaignNorthern Illinois University, DeKalbBradley University, Peoria, IllinoisMarquette University, Milwaukee, WisconsinOhio State University, Columbus, OhioColorado State University at Fort Collins, CO Scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering students enrolled in a specific post-secondary educational institution and pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that has traditionally been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession.
