Ronald P. Vallort Engineering Scholarship Grant

The Ronald P. Vallort Engineering Scholarship, named after a former ASHRAE President, supports undergraduate engineering students focusing on refrigeration and the cold chain. Available to students enrolled in select universities, applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or be in the top 30% of their class. This one-year scholarship promotes excellence in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, aligning with ASHRAE's mission to advance sustainable technology in the built environment.

One-year scholarship established and named for a former ASHRAE President (2004-2005). Presidential Theme: Refrigeration: Technology for Survival. Special consideration is given to engineering students studying refrigeration and/or the cold chain and enrolled at one of the following universities:

Scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering students enrolled in a specific post-secondary educational institution and pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that has traditionally been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30%.
