RMS-SEPM is a non-profit, professional organization with a membership drawn from a broad range of geologic backgrounds representing academia, research institutions, consulting organizations, and natural resource companies. The RMS-SEPM offers monetary scholarships each year for both undergraduate and graduate students in geological fields of study. The Donald L. Smith Research Grant Offered as a tribute to the late Professor Donald Smith of Montana State University (see AAPG Bulletin, v. 69, p. 1830-1832). This grant offers a $2,000 award.
