RMS-SEPM exists to provide a stimulating forum within the Rockies geologic community for issues related to sedimentology, stratigraphy, and sedimentary petrology. This is achieved through monthly luncheon technical presentations, diverse though infrequent publication efforts, and sponsorship of field trips and core workshops. RMS-SEPM is a non-profit, professional organization with a membership drawn from a broad range of geologic backgrounds representing academia, research institutions, consulting organizations, and natural resource companies. The RMS-SEPM offers monetary scholarships each year for both undergraduate and graduate students in geological fields of study. Fluvial Sedimentology Research Grant This award is to be used for research in modern or ancient fluvial sedimentology. This grant is in the amount of $2,000.
