Reiter Family Foundation Grant: Housing and Food Access

The Reiter Family Foundation Grant aims to support impactful organizations in Colorado, focusing on housing, food, education, and environmental conservation. With grant amounts ranging from $1,000 to $20,000, the foundation welcomes diverse applicants and partnerships. As part of its upcoming grant cycles for 2026, specific themes will be prioritized, including housing and food in February, education and youth in May, and environment and conservation in September. Additional funding opportunities may also be available.

The Reiter Family Foundation seeks to support organizations that are doing meaningful work to shape and sustain Colorado communities. Our areas of focus are housing and food security, education and youth programming, and environment and conservation, but we do welcome inquiries from non-profits who do not necessarily fit neatly into our focus areas.
Housing and Food Security
Food Security: Coupled with housing, food is a baseline human need, which is why we believe in working to help break down and eliminate barriers of food access in our local communities.
Grants typically range from $2,000 - $15,000, but additional funding may be available.
Applicants can only submit one grant proposal each calendar year (January - December), but may apply again the following year unless otherwise advised.

Eligibility

Applicants must have 501(c)3 status through the IRS.We are currently focusing on organizations serving the Denver Metro and Grand County communities, but we may occasionally consider non-profits outside of these boundaries. If your organization is outside these geographic regions, please reach out before applying.
