Recognition Scholarships
Overview: Scholarships established through minimum contributions from sponsoring groups and the ZTA Foundation, which can be designated for specific chapters, provinces, or areas and named in honor or memory of special Zetas.
Award Details:
- Minimum $2,000 from sponsoring group
- $500 from Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation
For Donors/Sponsors:
For Applicants:
- Member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity in good standing
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student
- Full-time enrollment for fall and spring semesters
Application Process: Apply through the same ZTA Foundation Scholarship application process with deadline February 27.

Recognition Scholarship Application
For Applicants: Apply through the ZTA Foundation Scholarship application process (see main scholarship program for detailed steps)
For Donors/Sponsors Creating a Scholarship:
1. Contact the ZTA Foundation
2. Complete Recognition Scholarship Commitment Form (available on Z-Learning)
3. Provide minimum donation of $2,000
4. Designate scholarship name and preferred criteria (chapter, major, etc.)
5. ZTA Foundation will contribute $500 for total of at least $2,500
