Overview: The Rainy River Community College Foundation awards various scholarships to new, continuing, and transferring students to help them achieve an affordable education at Minnesota North College - Rainy River Campus.

Award Amounts by GPA:

3.5-4.0 GPA: $3,000 (Top of the Class)

3.0-3.49 GPA: $2,000 (Academic Achievement)

2.5-2.99 GPA: $750 (Foundation Scholarship)

2.0-2.49 GPA: $500 (Foundation Scholarship)

Eligibility Requirements

• Must apply for admission to Minnesota North College - Rainy River Campus
• Minimum 2.0 GPA based on high school or college transcripts, or GED
• Must be enrolled full-time with at least 6 Rainy River credits
• Submit high school and/or college transcripts

Renewal

• "Top of the Class" scholarship ($3,000) renews for 2nd year if student maintains 3.25 cumulative GPA at Rainy River
• "Academic Achievement" scholarship ($2,000) renews for 2nd year if student maintains 3.0 cumulative GPA at Rainy River

Important Notes

• No athletic scholarships offered at Rainy River
• Scholarships are not guaranteed and are awarded based on number of applications received and remaining scholarship dollars
• Spring scholarships: No Priority Deadline
• Fall/other terms: Priority Deadline for first review; Final Deadline for last review before term begins
• Applications received after Final Deadline will not be reviewed for that term
• Scholarships funded by generous friends of the College, organizations, businesses, individuals, alumni, and the Rainy River Community College Foundation
