Description: A boarding summer school program offered by Putney School (since 1988) for Shinnyo-en youth to explore various art forms and apply their creative passion to cultivate a more harmonious and peaceful world. Foundation sponsors a small number of talented Shinnyo-en youth annually.

Location: Vermont (residential/boarding program)

Duration: Four weeks (intensive program)

Age/Grade Requirements: Ages 14-17 or currently in 8th-11th grade

Program Structure:

Students select two disciplines to focus on

Morning and afternoon workshops

Designed for all levels of experience

Focus on each student's individual interests and trajectory

Professional instruction in selected disciplines

Students create rich work for their creative portfolios
