Infinite Paths to Peace (IPTP) Leadership Retreat Series

Status: Concluded in December 2025 after 10-year journey (program concluded)

Description: A 10-year overnight retreat series that supported the personal and spiritual growth of Shinnyo-en youth across six Shinnyo-en USA and Hawaii Temple communities, helping them develop leadership, deepen engagement with peers, and strengthen connections to temples and broader communities.

Geographic Scope: Six Shinnyo-en USA and Hawaii Temple communities

Participants: Over 270 youth participated across three series

  • Series #1: Over 100 youth

  • Series #2: Over 80 youth

  • Series #3: Over 90 youth
  • Program Structure: Three series focused on different leadership levels:

  • Series #1 (Being): Recognizing and identifying leadership skills within themselves

  • Series #2 (Belonging): Applying leadership within their temple communities

  • Series #3 (Bridging): Extending leadership beyond temple walls
  • Partnerships: Search Institute (early years), ACET Inc. (recent years)

  • Legacy: Series #3 concluded in Seattle in December 2025. Foundation creating stand-alone activity cards featuring select activities from the series for future sharing and resource distribution.
