PRSA-Hawai'i/Roy Leffingwell Public Relations Scholarship The PRSA Hawai'i/Roy Leffingwell Scholarship was established in honor of the late Roy L. Leffingwell, APR, who retired in 1989 after more than 43 years of public relations service in Hawai'i. He founded International Public Relations, Hawaii's first full-service counseling firm, and was active in public relations organizations including the National Association of Public Relations Counsel, one of the two organizations that merged to form PRSA. He was a former chapter president and 1993 Professional of the Year.
