Project Support Grants
Purpose: Support non-profit organizations with arts projects, activities, or programs, especially if they are not year-round programs. Funding is meant to support public-facing and publicly accessible programming.
Status: Currently suspended for FY2026 due to delayed notice of funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). ArtsKC remains committed to fundraising for these programs in the future.
Geographic Scope: Five-county Kansas City metropolitan area (Clay, Jackson, Johnson, Platte, Wyandotte)
2024-2025 Results: Awarded 5 Project Grants totaling $26,000 (average $5,200). 14% of applicants received a grant of any amount.
