Project Financing Loan

Geographic Scope: Five-county Philadelphia region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties), Southeastern Pennsylvania

Purpose: DVREDF's main objective is to provide financing to projects that have measurable economic development and/or job impact.

Eligible Borrowers

• Non-profit organizations incorporated as public charities in Pennsylvania
• For-profit entities
• Certain public/private partnerships
• All borrowers must be registered or incorporated in Pennsylvania and doing business in the 5-county area

Eligible Projects

Projects and organizations whose missions promote job impact in:

• Community Development
• Workforce Development
• Tourism

Funding Priorities

DVREDF gives additional consideration to projects that:

• Clearly benefit distressed communities in the five-county Philadelphia region
• Provide economic opportunity to low-income individuals in the region
• Are from established entities versus start-up enterprises

Loan Terms

• Loan Amount: Up to $500,000
• Repayment Period: 1 to 10 years (5 to 10 years preferred)
• Interest Rates: Competitive
• Terms: Flexible
