Presenter Consortium for Jazz Grant

The Presenter Consortium for Jazz Grant, offered by Chamber Music America, supports U.S.-based presenters collaborating to engage professional jazz ensembles. This grant provides up to $39,000 for expenses like ensemble fees, concert production, and marketing. Each consortium can include up to three presenters and aims to enhance the jazz experience through live performances and streamed concerts. Eligible projects must involve CMA’s New Jazz Works grantees, fostering creativity and community engagement in jazz.

Incentive funding is available to each consortium presenter project that includes one or more of CMA’s New Jazz Works grantee ensembles to perform their entire CMA commission. Presenters and ensembles may be engaged in only one Presenter Consortium for Jazz application per grant period. Current grantees cannot apply for a Presenter Consortium for Jazz grant. The grant will fund up to $13,000 of funding for each U.S.-based presenter for a total of up to $39,000 for eligible expenses for a consortium.
Funding
Presenter Consortium for Jazz funds only following eligible expenses:
ensemble fees;in-person concert or streaming production costs, marketing, and distribution costs;concert production costs (lighting, sound, cartage, etc.);travel and hotel, per diem.

Eligibility

You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. To apply, each of the three presenting organizations in a Consortium must be a CMA Organization-level member.
