About the Program:
The grant recognizes the importance of artists in the region and aims to show respect for artists, create meaningful substantive support, help artists advance their work and career, and mutually benefit individual artists and the region. The first grant was made in spring 2002. It is one of the country's largest unrestricted grants to an individual artist.
