Program Description:
EFNH is an initiative of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation that channels the expertise, energy and passion of the state's leading entrepreneurs to strengthen New Hampshire communities through innovative philanthropy. The AMP (Amplified Benefit) Award Competitions feature nonprofit pitch events where organizations compete for funding.

Selection Process:

Five nonprofit finalists per competition

Three-minute pitch presentations

EFNH members and guests vote in real-time

Winners selected based on anticipated "amplified benefits"

Serving New Hampshire communities

Mentor Support:

Finalists paired with EFNH mentors for one-on-one coaching

"Pitch camps" held prior to final events to refine presentations

Program History:

Since 2011, 63 nonprofit organizations have participated

13 organizations received grants totaling $210,000 (as of spring 2015)

Application Process

Steps:
1. Nonprofit organizations apply to participate in pitch competition
2. Finalists are selected and paired with EFNH mentor
3. Finalists attend "pitch camp" to develop presentation
4. Three-minute pitch presentation at regional competition event
5. EFNH members and guests vote in real-time
6. Winner with most votes receives $25,000 grant
