Piedmont Arts Fund

Alternative Names: Formerly known as PAINTS (Promote Arts In The Schools) and CHIME

Purpose: Support visual and performing arts education in Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD) for K-12 students.

Geographic Scope: Piedmont, California - all schools in PUSD

Funding Amount: $65,000 for 2018-19 academic year

Focus Areas - Arts Support Includes:

  • Visual arts: 2D and 3D art, ceramics, photography, graphic design, supplies

  • Performing arts: Music instruction, band, orchestra, acapella, choir, theater, dance

  • Literary arts: Poetry

  • Film and media

  • Art books in school libraries

  • Lunchtime art programs

  • Integrated arts curriculum
