The Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond The Community Foundation of Richmond is a philanthropic organization dedicated to improving quality of life across the Richmond region by connecting people, ideas, and resources for lasting community impact. The Foundation manages charitable funds, supports local nonprofits, and leads strategic initiatives that address community priorities such as education, health, economic opportunity, and equity. Through grantmaking, donor services, and community leadership, the Foundation works to strengthen nonprofits, respond to emerging needs, and build a more resilient, inclusive, and thriving Richmond-area community. Perry-White Scholarship The scholarship program was set up under the will of Emma Warrener White Perry for the benefit of worthy high school graduates of the Hopewell, Prince George, Petersburg, Colonial Heights areas and the following high schools in Chesterfield: Matoaca, Thomas Dale, L.C. Bird, and Meadowbrook. Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to students who have been admitted to one of the following six Virginia schools: College of William & Mary, Longwood University (formerly Longwood College), Randolph-Macon College, Randolph College, University of Virginia and VCU's pharmacy program (students attending VCU must be accepted into the PrePharmacy Program, with the intent to attend VCU School of Pharmacy).Eligibility
