NOTE: Letter of Inquiry - This deadline represents a Baird associate's invitation to nominate a 501(c)(3) educational organization.Full Proposal - Invite Only Paul Purcell “Kids Win!” Annual Baird Education Grant The Paul Purcell "Kids Win!" Annual Baird Education Grant was established in 2020 as a meaningful and lasting tribute to former Baird Chairman & CEO Paul E. Purcell. Paul gave of himself tirelessly to many educational causes and firmly believed we have an obligation to ensure everyone – regardless of where they live or other circumstances – has access to a quality education. To make sure the educational organizations he served and guided were focused on that end, Paul often asked a very straightforward question: “Do the kids win?” In addition to being one of the most influential leaders in Baird's history, Paul Purcell was passionate about education and ensuring all children can access the knowledge and tools necessary to build better futures. In his memory, we've established the Paul Purcell "Kids Win!" Annual Baird Education Grant to benefit qualified nonprofit educational organizations that share this passion and purpose. The Paul Purcell "Kids Win!" Annual Baird Education Grant is funded by Baird, Baird Foundation and Baird associates.

To celebrate Paul’s legacy and to make sure kids continue to win, Baird associates are invited each year to nominate 501(c)(3) educational organizations which meet specific criteria as possible recipients of the Paul Purcell "Kids Win!" Annual Baird Education Grant:A Baird associate who has direct insight into an educational organization’s impact must sponsor and be engaged in the grant application.Educational organizations must have 501(c)(3) Public Charity tax status and serve students in the United States, with a focus on markets where Baird associates live and work.
