Palm Beach County Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Grant

  • Correct code violations or incipient items that will become code violations

  • Eliminate housing conditions that threaten occupants' life, health, or safety

  • Connect residents to public utilities

  • Adapt residences to meet accessibility requirements

  • Assist with sewer and water connection fees

  • Install service lines from the meter to the primary residence

    Application Process

    Mandatory Steps:
    1. Register for Palm Beach County Orientation: Go online to https://survey.pbcgov.com/s3/HED-Registration to pre-register for one of two mandatory virtual orientations
    2. Attend PBC Mandatory Orientation: Choose one of the offered 1.5-hour virtual sessions (provides overview of online application process, required documents, program description, and step-by-step review)
    3. Reserve Spot at CPSFL Information Clinic: After completing PBC orientation, make a reservation with CPSFL Housing Department at https://cp-housing.force.com/cphousingcft
    4. Attend CPSFL Information Clinic: Visit one of the free 75-minute clinics held at The Ted Center (723 Pinewood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407) for step-by-step application guidance
    5. Submit Online Application: Complete and submit application through Palm Beach County's online portal during the application period

    Required Materials:

  • Documentation as specified in mandatory orientation

  • Proof of income eligibility

  • Proof of ownership of one-to-two unit dwelling
