Overview

Tau Grants from Allegany Franciscan Ministries strengthen the health and well-being of communities across a six-county Florida region (Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Martin, Hillsborough, Pinellas). They provide unrestricted general operating support to small 501(c)(3) nonprofits (operating budget under $1 million) that expand access to healthcare services or promote economic mobility, and that both serve and are led by people from historically marginalized communities (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, immigrants).

How to Apply

Two cycles per fiscal year (Cycle 1: Access to Healthcare; Cycle 2: Economic Mobility); up to ~40 grants/year. Apply online through the Access Grant Portal at afmfl.org. Two-year term, maximum total award $20,000. Organizations must act in alignment with Catholic Social Teaching.
