Own Your Power - Smart Thermostat Pilot Program
Program Type: Load control pilot program using smart thermostat devices
Geographic Scope: Lake Region Electric Cooperative service territory (Minnesota)
Background: Introduced in June 2025, LREC's Own Your Power program coordinates with existing load control programs and Great River Energy (wholesale power provider) to manage home heating and cooling during peak demand periods.
