Overview:
CAP-HC partners with All Energy Solar to make solar energy more accessible to families with low income. The initiative helps eligible homeowners through all steps—from assessment to installation—to access clean, renewable energy and reduce long-term energy costs.

- Note: Participating in The Solstice Project will not affect future eligibility for energy assistance

How to Apply
1. Initial Contact: CAP-HC staff have pre-screened eligible households based on income, homeownership, and location requirements
2. Receive Outreach: Pre-screened households will be contacted by phone and/or mail to gauge interest
3. Express Interest: Contact CAP-HC Solar Program if interested in learning more
4. Eligibility Confirmation: CAP-HC staff will determine eligibility and confirm homeowner interest
5. Partner with All Energy Solar: Once approved, All Energy Solar will guide you through the process
- Evaluate property and energy needs
- Propose solar energy system design
- Apply for permits and applicable incentives on your behalf
- Install the system
- Maintain the system
