Overview:
EAP helps income-eligible households reduce their energy burden with assistance grants paid directly to utility providers. The program assists families with low incomes in managing utility costs during the critical heating season.

• Gross household income limits (vary by household size)
• Hennepin County residents
• Income-eligible households

What the Program Provides

• Assistance grants paid directly to utility providers on behalf of qualifying residents
• Crisis assistance of up to $600 for households facing:
- Utility disconnection - Dangerously low fuel levels - Other energy-related emergencies
