Our Village Grants

The Our Village Grants by the Jack and Jill of America Foundation aim to support 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations dedicated to uplifting African American families. These grants focus on programs that address educational and economic disparities, particularly those exacerbated by the pandemic. Initiatives may include digital learning resources, tutoring, and support for health and food security. The foundation prioritizes organizations that align with their mission to create lasting positive impacts in under-resourced communities.

This grant is offered to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations advancing family stabilization and opportunity in communities historically affected by systemic inequities and the residual effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Aligned with our belief that strong families build strong communities, this grant invests in programs that help remove barriers to housing, food access, digital connectivity, and financial empowerment. Eligible initiatives may include digital learning access, academic support services, parent and caregiver resources, food security programs, and health and wellness supports. By fostering economic mobility and resilience at the family level, this grant helps unlock pathways to long-term opportunity and generational impact.

Eligibility

The Jack and Jill of America Foundation grants are awarded to organizations that align with our mission and fit our funding priorities.Eligible organizations for our independent grants include:501(c)(3)sthose with a fiscal sponsor with a 501(c)(3) designationthose that are public agencies, including school districts
