AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander)

Other intersectional identities

People who have recently immigrated

Those from or working in historically marginalized communities

Communities historically exploited and harmed by industrial agricultural and banking systems

• Food justice
• Land sovereignty

Application Guidelines

• Grant proposals should match the scope and capacity of the amount requested
• Previously unfunded applicants from 2025 may resubmit applications

Decision Process

• Funding decisions made by an independent committee of farmers, food justice activists, and key stakeholders
• Committee works toward creating a more equitable food system

Timeline

• Application Window: December 1 - January 20 (annual)
• Emergency Round Notifications: End of February
• Main Grant Cycle Notifications: End of May
