Overview:
The OASAS Addiction Professionals Scholarship Program (APSP) at Outreach Training Institute (OTI) covers the full cost of tuition for the CASAC Training Program for both 350-Hour and 100-Hour students.

Focus Area: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment professional development and credentialing

Eligibility:

  • Must be admitted to the CASAC Training Program at OTI

  • Must commit to completing 120 field hours at an OASAS-approved facility providing clinical SUD treatment services

  • For 350-Hour CASAC Training Program students: eligible for internship stipend, CASAC application fee reimbursement, and exam fee reimbursement (specific requirements must be completed)
  • Award Details:

  • Full tuition coverage for CASAC Training Program

  • Eligible recipients in 350-Hour program receive stipend for 120 hours of internship

    Application Process

    2. Indicate Interest: Select the APSP scholarship option on your CASAC Training Program application
    3. Submit Supporting Documentation: Provide all appropriate supporting documentation required for the APSP scholarship
    4. Review Process: Applications are reviewed by an admissions committee
    5. Maintain Standing: Once awarded, recipients must:
    - Meet scholarship maintenance requirements
    - Demonstrate satisfactory progress towards graduation
    - Work towards CASAC credentialing
    - Complete 120 field hours at OASAS-approved facility
