The 1199 Career Pathways Scholarship Program covers the full cost of tuition for the CASAC Training Program at Outreach Training Institute (OTI) for 1199 members and some non-members.

Focus Area: Substance Use Disorder treatment professional development and healthcare workforce development

Eligibility:

1199 SEIU members (primary)

Some non-members may be eligible

Must gain admission into the CASAC Training Program at OTI

Service Requirement:

Participants must commit to a 3-year service requirement working for a healthcare provider in New York State that serves a patient population of at least 30% Medicaid-reliant or uninsured
