ACCES-VR (Adult Career and Continuing Educational Services – Vocational Rehabilitation)

Overview:
Applicants who are eligible and approved for ACCES-VR benefits can attend Outreach Training Institute at no cost. The program is sponsored by the New York State Education Department, a longtime funding partner with OTI.

Focus Area: Substance Use Disorder treatment professional development and vocational rehabilitation

Eligibility:

• Must be eligible for and approved for ACCES-VR benefits
• Applicants work with their local county ACCES-VR office for eligibility determination

Award Details:

• Full funding for training at Outreach Training Institute
• No cost to eligible participants

Application Process:

1. Contact local county ACCES-VR office for eligibility determination and application
2. Obtain ACCES-VR approval/enrollment
3. Apply to CASAC Training Program at OTI following ACCES-VR enrollment
4. Participate in OTI's standard admissions process

2. Complete ACCES-VR Application: Work with your local ACCES-VR office on eligibility determination and approval
3. Obtain Enrollment: Following ACCES-VR enrollment and approval, you will be eligible for full funding
4. Apply to CASAC Training Program at OTI: https://opiny.org/casac-training/
5. Standard Admissions Process: Participate in OTI's standard admissions process
6. Maintain Standing: Once enrolled, demonstrate satisfactory progress towards graduation and CASAC credentialing
