2025 Event Funding Timeline: Round 2 applications open December 13 and last day to submit applications is January 10 Mission The North Tahoe Community Alliance (NTCA) collaborates to achieve economic health, community vitality, and environmental stewardship. Vision A distinctive, thriving destination with a sustained economy that benefits residents, businesses, and visitors. NTCA Event Funding The North Tahoe Chamber funds local events through TOT-TBID Dollars At Work that bring the character and spirit of our communities to life for residents and visitors. Sponsorships are awarded based on how the events impact the economic health, community vitality, and environmental stewardship of North Lake Tahoe. Events that received 2025 funding promote community vitality, environmental stewardship, and economic health in the region. Each event’s traffic management and sustainability plan are also evaluated, with organizers responsible for identifying and outlining how they will mitigate the impacts of attendees on the community and the environment. Funding Priority Areas Applicants will indicate which priority area(s) they are positively impacting from the alphabetized list below: Community Enhancement and Visitor Integration Infrastructure Community and visitor enhancement for the enjoyment of all. Environmental Stewardship and Human Impact Mitigation Mitigation of the impacts of humans on our community and environment & enhancing and protecting environmental sustainability. Trails Enhancing recreational trail use and connecting neighborhoods in non-automotive ways. Transportation Enhancing efficient transportation throughout the region. Workforce HousingCreating a sustainable community through making housing affordable. NTCA Event Funding

Eligibility

Minimum Eligibility Requirements The event must take place within the NLT-TBID district boundaries – Eastern Placer County.The applicant is a nonprofit, or business registered as an LLC, Corp, or B Corp, sole proprietor.TOT-TBID funds will not be the sole/primary revenue source for the event. The event is not contingent upon the receipt of this event investment to occur.The applicant’s proposal is consistent with the preferred event investments outlined in the application.The event is fundamentally not a conference, meeting, industry trade show, workshop or expo.The event producer will promote lodging within the NLT-TBID boundaries.The event is open to the general public (spectators), promotes attendance to spectators and/or participants, and does not require the general public (spectators) to purchase a membership, conference registration or annual dues to spectate. Spectator ticket charges are acceptable for gated events.The event will follow industry standards for event environmental stewardship practices.The event is welcoming to all.
