Norco Economic Development Fund (NEDF) Grant

The Norco Economic Development Fund Grant, administered by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, aims to enhance the quality of life in Norco through community support for local businesses and workforce development. Funded by a generous donation from Shell, this initiative focuses on job training, vocational education, and community events that bolster local businesses. Nonprofits serving the Norco community are eligible to apply for these grants, prioritizing projects that directly benefit local residents.

.Purpose
The Norco Community and Economic Development Funds, Donor Advised Funds held at The Greater New Orleans Foundation, were formed as a result of a six-million-dollar gift to the Norco community from Shell. The purpose of these funds is to improve the quality of life, both socially and economically, of people in Norco.
The goals of the NEDF are to increase the success and competitiveness of Norco-based business and therefore enhance prosperity and quality of life for the Norco community.
Community Support for Local Businesses.

Job Creation/Training Needs/Workforce Development to position members of the Norco Community to be well positioned for economically vibrant careers.

Eligibility

The Fund will only consider grants for charitable purposes to nonprofit organizations that serve the Norco community and its residents.
