Geographic Scope: Brown County, Wisconsin and surrounding counties (Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties)

• Capacity building for nonprofit organizations
• Strategic planning

• Website/online presence enhancement
• Organizational sustainability

Eligibility:

• Nonprofit organizations led by people of color
• Organizations serving Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties
• May also include organizations serving populations aged 60 and older (within greater Capacity Building Grants program)

Award Amounts:

• Brown County United Way contributed $37,000 (2023 cycle) and $17,850 (2024 cycle) to the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation's Capacity Building Grants program specifically for organizations led by people of color
• Individual grant amounts vary

• Ensure a more vibrant and resilient future for the entire community
• Strengthen operational capabilities of nonprofits
• Ensure nonprofit sustainability
