Overview

FDL Impact Grant The Fond du Lac Area Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our geographic area. Grants are made for programs likely to make a clear difference in the quality of life of a substantial number of people. Impact Grants will be for a maximum of $100,000 and for no more than a two-year commitment. Impact Grants will support: Endowment building: Build capacity and sustainability by helping nonprofits leverage additional funds and incorporate endowment fundraising as a regular part of their ongoing development program.Capital projects: Bricks and mortar for important projects that will strengthen community.Capacity building: Helps to strengthen community organizations through training, education, seminars, etc.Community leadership: Proactive opportunity to support community assessments, surveys, special initiatives and leverage other sources of financial support.Community betterment: Provide support to initiatives that improve the quality of life. Start-up/entrepreneurial: Help new ideas, organizations, and community initiatives get established.

Ineligibility

Organizations who receive an Impact Grant cannot apply again for three years.In general, the Foundation does not support:religious organizations for religious purposespolitical partiesscholarly researchannual fundraising drives or sponsorship of eventstravel grantsprojects outside our local geographic area
