Nike Community Impact Fund - Mid-South/Memphis, TN Grant

The Nike Community Impact Fund focuses on enhancing active, inclusive communities in the Mid-South, specifically in Shelby County (TN) and DeSoto and Marshall Counties (MS). By awarding $100,000 in grants annually, the fund supports local nonprofits and schools that create opportunities for children to engage in play, sport, and physical activity. This community-driven approach ensures that the voices of local Nike employees are integrated into the decision-making process, driving lasting change.

A big part of how we bring that to life is through the Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF), an employee-led, neighborhood-focused approach to supporting local community organizations around the world to drive positive, lasting change and make play possible for all kids.
Here’s how NCIF works:

• Local organizations in the communities apply for grants per below.

A volunteer committee of Nike teammates — from stores, offices, logistic centers, Air Manufacturing and Innovation — is trained on how to assess grant applications.
Each member of the Nike volunteer committee shares their local insights to play a leading role in deciding which organizations receive funding. (In our Community Unite Stores, all store athletes have an opportunity to weigh in on the final grantees.)
NCIF Mid-South/Memphis (TN & MS)
The Nike Community Impact Fund benefits communities where our employees live, work and play. In partnership with Charities Aid Foundation of America, the employee-led grant selection committee awards  grants each year to nonprofits and schools the Mid-South area, specifically Shelby County (TN) and DeSoto and Marshall Counties (MS). The one-year grants support local programs that help kids unleash their potential through play, sport and physical activity.
