Applicants must live in and attend community college in:

  • Washington, DC

  • Maryland: Montgomery County, Prince George's County

  • Virginia: Fairfax County, Arlington County, Prince William County, City of Fairfax, City of Alexandria, City of Falls Church
  • Eligibility Requirements

    K–12 Credential:

  • Must be a high school graduate or have completed GED

  • Applicants who will earn diploma or GED by end of selection process may still apply
  • Age: Must be between 17–29 years old

    Type of Degree:

  • Must pursue an Associate degree OR professional certification

  • Must NOT already hold a bachelor's degree
  • Point in Educational Program:

  • If already begun program, projected graduation date must be May 2026 or later
  • Financial Status: Combined household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)

  • 1 person: $66,750

  • 2 people: $76,250

  • 3 people: $85,800

  • 4 people: $95,300
