Neighborhood Impact Program (NIP)

Funder: Christian Financial Credit Union in partnership with FHLBank of Indianapolis

Purpose: The Neighborhood Impact Program provides qualified homeowners with funding for deferred maintenance repairs and accessibility modifications to improve their homes and quality of life.

Eligible Projects

The program funds:

• Home Accessibility Modifications (for disabled residents and seniors)
  • Walk-in showers with grab bars
  • Wheelchair-accessible ramps
  • Accessibility upgrades
  • Adaptive modifications
• Deferred Maintenance Repairs
  • Plumbing repairs

  • Other modifications to improve usability for people with disabilities

Geographic Scope

Available to homeowners in communities served by Christian Financial Credit Union:

• Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, and St. Clair counties in Michigan

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant Type: Homeowners (must own their home)
• Income Qualification: Must meet program income requirements
• Geographic: Must be located in CFCU service area
• Status: Must be qualified to receive assistance
