NCC Foundation: RN to BSN Scholarship Grant

The NCC Foundation's RN to BSN Scholarship provides vital financial support to graduates of CT State Norwalk pursuing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at four-year institutions. Eligible candidates must have passed the NCLEX and can apply for renewable assistance over two years based on academic performance. This scholarship encourages continued education in nursing, fostering future healthcare professionals committed to excellence and community service.

Norwalk Community College (NCC) Foundation
The Norwalk Community College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization independent of CT State Norwalk. The Foundation is dedicated to maintaining the high-quality, accessible higher education opportunities provided to students at CT State Norwalk by fundraising for scholarships and programs that promote student success in college and beyond.
The RN to BSN Transfer Scholarship offers students who earn their RN degree at CT State Norwalk and pass the NCLEX exam the opportunity to receive additional tuition assistance while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at a four-year college or university. Scholarship awards are based on available funding and unmet need and are renewable for up to two additional years if student meets academic criteria. RN to MSN programs may also be considered. You must apply within three years of your graduation from CT State Norwalk. Students who are awarded grants will be expected to:
Complete and sign an agreement and a surveyKeep in touch with the NCC Foundation with changes throughout the yearProvide unofficial transcripts at the end of each academic semesterBe available to meet with donors of the RN to BSN Transfer Scholarship Program

Eligibility

Be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident onlyHave graduated from CT State Norwalk and passed the NCLEX, or have plans to take the NCLEXHave applied and/or been accepted to a 4-year institution and received a financial aid package (You may submit a copy later if you do not receive by the due date. YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY APPLIED BY DUE DATE)Write an essay about your CT State Norwalk experience, why you have chosen your field and future goals (submit by deadline)Submit a copy of your tuition & fees from your 4-year institution (submit by deadline)Submit your Financial Aid Package received from your 4-year institution (or submit Student Financial Worksheet if you haven’t received your package yet) (submit either one by deadline)Submit your FAFSA Submission Summary (submit by deadline)Submit your CT State Norwalk transcript (submit by deadline)Submit two letters of recommendation with at least one from CT State Norwalk faculty or staff (submit by deadline)
