Norwalk Community College (NCC) Foundation The Norwalk Community College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization independent of CT State Norwalk. The Foundation is dedicated to maintaining the high-quality, accessible higher education opportunities provided to students at CT State Norwalk by fundraising for scholarships and programs that promote student success in college and beyond. NCC Foundation: DREAM Scholarship The Dream Transfer Scholarship supports DACA/Undocumented CT State Norwalk graduating students who seek to continue their degree at a 4-year college or university. Students can receive funding for up to 2 years. Scholarship awards are based on available funding and unmet need and are renewable for three additional semesters if you meet academic criteria. Students who are awarded grants will be expected to: Maintain 1/2, 3/4, or full-time enrollment at a 4-year schoolComplete and sign an agreement and a surveySubmit a photo to share with donorsKeep in touch with the NCC Foundation with any changes throughout the yearProvide unofficial transcripts at the end of each academic semesterBe available to meet with donors of the DREAM Transfer Scholarship ProgramWork with a mentor provided by the Foundation for the duration of your scholarship

Eligibility

Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA upon graduating CT State Norwalk (no exceptions)Be a childhood immigrant who graduated from a U.S. high school, but you are not yet a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (DACA) or an undocumented student ONLYHave applied for graduation at CT State NorwalkHave applied to and/or been accepted to a four-year institution (You may submit a copy later if you do not receive by the due date. YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY APPLIED BY DUE DATE)Submit a copy of your tuition & fees from your four-year institution (submit by deadline)Submit your Financial Aid Package received from your 4-year institution (or submit Student Financial Worksheet if you haven’t received your package yet) (submit either one by deadline)Download an Income Verification Form, complete and UPLOAD into application (submit by deadline)Submit your CT State Norwalk Transcript (submit by deadline)Write an essay about your CT State Norwalk experience and future goals (submit by deadline)Submit three letters of recommendation with at least two from CT State Norwalk faculty or staff (submit by deadline)Agree to participate in a mentoring program if you get the scholarship (optional)
