About Us For over 30 years, Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT) has been driving meaningful, positive change in our community. We do this by bringing together those who want to help and those who need help. Motherless Queen Scholarship Fund Linda Hope’s loss of her mother at the young age of 10 sparked the catalyst of her desire to connect and provide for others who have to walk the same path as she did. With the partnership of her sister, Linda launched the Motherless Queens annual brunch that meets yearly on Mother’s Day, and in 2020 they founded The Motherless Queens Scholarship Fund. “I’d like to establish this scholarship to honor my mother’s value for education and to offer financial support to students that have experienced the loss of their mother,” says Linda.
