Overview

Since its inception, MJF has awarded more than $9 million to nonprofit organizations across Montana. We support projects that help people stay in housing, receive medical care, escape abusive and violent environments, and rebuild their lives. Law-Related Education Grants The Montana Justice Foundation Law-Related Education (LRE) Grants Program provides small grant awards (up to $3,000) to qualifying organizations for the purpose of conducting projects that support a knowledge and awareness of the law. Examples of projects that may qualify for a Law-Related Education Grant include: We The People, mock trial or courtroom events for high school students, Constitution In The Classroom events, Girls/Boys State projects, staff or community training on a law-related topic or area of law, or any other project designed to enhance public knowledge or awareness of the law. Applications for Law Related Education Grants may be submitted year-round
