Members 1st Charitable Foundation The Members 1st Charitable Foundation is an independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to support local, grassroots organizations within South Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania to make them stronger, healthier, and more financially sound. Founded by Members 1st Federal Credit Union in 2021, the Foundation receives ongoing support from the Credit Union, as well as donors and members from the communities which it supports. Members 1st Charitable Foundation Grant We’re on a mission to support local, grassroots organizations in the communities we serve, to make them stronger, healthier and more financially sound. If you're focused on any of the following, we want to help: Art & Culture; Diversity & Inclusion; Education; Financial Literacy; Health & Wellness; Social Services; and Veterans' Services. Grants up to $10,000 will be awarded each cycle. Organizations may only receive one grant per calendar year.Eligibility

Funding requests must align with the Foundation's missionOrganization must be tax exempt under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Supporting documentation in the form of the IRS determination letter (IRS Letter 1045), IRS Form W-9, and your EIN number must be submitted with your proposal. Organization must be based within South Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania (Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Northampton, Perry, and York counties). Organization must be in good financial standing. Organization is non-discriminatory for any reason, including race, religion, creed, age, sex, sexual orientation and/or national origin. Exceptions from these criteria may be made in situations of large-scale crises, such as national disasters.Ineligibility
