Mary Eleanor Morris Scholarship The Mary Eleanor Morris Scholarship was established through the estate of Mary Eleanor Leonard Morris to support educational and charitable work in her home community of Logan County, Ohio. Born in West Liberty in 1892, Mrs. Morris led a life marked by service, including extensive volunteer work in hospitals in England supporting American soldiers prior to World War II. After returning permanently to West Liberty later in life, she ensured her legacy would continue locally by creating this scholarship fund. The program reflects her lifelong commitment to service and community, investing in opportunities that benefit residents of Logan County.Eligibility

This includes high school seniors in the following districts: Bellefontaine City Schools, Benjamin Logan Local Schools, Indian Lake Local Schools, Jackson Center Local Schools, Ohio Hi-Point JVS, Riverside Local Schools, Ridgemont Local Schools, Sidney City Schools, Triad Local Schools, Upper Scioto Valley Local Schools, Waynesfield-Goshen Local Schools, West Liberty-Salem Local Schools.Candidates must not be recipients of the Ohio Academic Scholarship, sponsored by the Ohio Board of Regents.Candidates must not be recipients of National Merit Scholarships of $4,000 or more.Candidates must attend or plan to attend an educational institution in the U.S.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
