Mariners Family Ministry Grant

The Mariners Family Ministry Grant, offered by the Presbyterian Mission Agency, provides up to $2,000 to create or enhance family ministry programs within Presbyterian congregations or camps. Focused on nurturing and strengthening family connections, eligible projects should present measurable goals for evaluation. Applications are accepted quarterly, with deadlines on the first Friday of March, June, September, and December. This grant is part of the legacy of Presbyterian Mariners.

Financial Aid for Service manages grant programs for Presbyterian-related schools, colleges, and congregations. We manage other grant programs on behalf of our colleagues in Theology, Formation, and Evangelism.
Mariners Family Ministry Grant, providing up to $2,000 for creating a new family ministry program or expanding an existing program in a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) congregation, new worshiping community, or Presbyterian-related camp or conference center. The gift supporting this grant is a legacy of Presbyterian Mariners.
Projects eligible for consideration will create or redesign opportunities for family ministry in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Successful projects will propose ways to encourage, nurture, and strengthen family ministry and provide measurable goals for evaluation.

Eligibility

Financial Aid for Service manages grant programs for Presbyterian-related schools, colleges, and congregations.

Ineligibility

The Mariner’s gift will support 2-3 grants per year; because funding is limited, grants are not renewable.
