Katie Cannon Scholarship Grant

The Katie Cannon Scholarship honors Rev. Dr. Katie Geneva Cannon, a pioneering figure in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This scholarship aims to empower Presbyterian women of color, clergywomen, and college women by providing financial assistance for leadership development events and educational opportunities. It promotes spiritual growth and mission involvement within the church, ensuring that women are equipped for greater service and leadership roles. This fund is part of the Women's Ministry Fund at the Presbyterian Mission Agency.

The Katie Cannon Scholarship honors the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Katie Geneva Cannon, a pioneer and legend in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This scholarship supports Presbyterian women of color, clergywomen, college women, and other women with opportunities for leadership and spiritual development and mission opportunities in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
The scholarship, named in honor of the late Rev. Dr. Katie Geneva Cannon, a pioneer and legend in the PC(USA), provides financial assistance to qualifying women for expenses for a leadership development event in the United States. This fund will also provide scholarships for young women to attend college, as well as event scholarships for women to develop leadership gifts and be equipped for even greater service in the PC(USA).
The scholarship, the Women’s Ministry Fund (E049991), is a fund of Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries at the Presbyterian Mission Agency.
