Margaret Follett Haskins (Hawai‘i) Scholarship Margaret Follett Haskins learned the value of hard work through her experiences during the Great Depression. She placed great emphasis on education. Using the community college system as a stepping stone, she reached her academic goals and despite the odds, she became a successful pharmacist. She never forgot her fortunate experiences. To remember her strong will and belief in education, her husband established this scholarship in her name, after her passing, to benefit those who wish to follow a similar path in their educational pursuits.
